The Location

The village of Northbourne is 2 miles to the West of Eastry which offers a range of shops including a bakery and 3 miles to the West of the historic and bustling coastal town of Deal with its central castle, supermarkets and narrow streets with a range of pubs, restaurants and antique shops. The local pub in Northbourne offers a good range of services and has a popular restaurant. World renowned Canterbury, Sandwich, Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate are all within 20 minutes drive. Howletts Zoo/ conservation park is a must for kids and Dover Castle with its underground WW2 tunnels make a very intersting day out. The picturesque St Margaret’s bay and Pegwell Bay, where the Vikings first landed, are within easy reach.
