Luxurious cottage with fantastic views for miles across the rolling Wealden countryside towards the North Downs in the distance. This is a pretty unique setting with such a vast and impressive backdrop – sitting out on the patio with such an uninterrupted sight is a great experience. The property is to a high standard throughout and the owners have finished the cottage with a great attention to detail. As well as the terrace there is a large lawned area which you have access to (there is an unfenced pond in the owners grounds, although not within the immediate proximity to the cottage).

The Cottage

A large oak frame porch greets you and leads to a modern, well equipped spacious kitchen which includes dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, induction hob and double ovens, belfast sink and TV. There are a couple of steps down into the lounge with comfortable seating, dining table which can be extended to seat 8, large flatscreen TV and access to the patio area. There is a downstairs double bedroom with queen bed, wardrobe, dresser and TV. Accessed through the other side of this room is a second sitting area that doubles up as a 4th bedroom with double sofa-bed (surcharge) – also adjoined by a downstairs shower room with WC and basin. Upstairs are two bedrooms; one with a queen double bed and the other room with twin single beds, also featuring an ensuite shower room including large shower enclosure, WC and basin.

The Location

Located just over a mile outside of Tenterden, there is quick access to the amenities of 2 supermarkets, shopping and a range of restaurants/ pubs. There is also Camber sands beach and the ancient hill top town of Rye within 15 minutes drive which are both worth a visit. Ashford, with its designer outlet and high speed train links to London and the continent is also close by. The Weald of Kent is on your doorstep with endless countryside and historic sights to explore; Sissinghurst and Bodiam Castles are a worthwhile trip. The surrounding villages have excellent pubs serving good food and picturesque settings.
