A recently renovated period property with great access to one of Kent’s main attractions, The Hop Farm. There are a great choice of activities and a selection of regular events providing a fun day for the kids and some great attractions for the adults too, entry to the park is free for all guests (not including events). On arrival you are a hamper of carefully selected local produce from around Kent awaits for you to enjoy during your stay (may be unavailable for bookings at very short notice). You have a private seating area outside the property which is a great sun trap with garden furniture and a space for bicycles is also outside (padlocks are not included).
The Cottage
This ground floor property comprises of an open-plan kitchen/dining room, well-equipped including a microwave, oven and gas hob. There is a bathroom which has a bath with shower over and hand basin, a separate WC with hand basin is located within the property. From the kitchen/dining area is a step up to the hallway leading onto the master double bedroom and day/living room which includes two single sofa-beds, a digital flat-screen TV, DVD player and an iPod dock/radio.
The Location
Situated in the grounds of The Hop Farm, a renowned location full of history, providing a great deal of attractions and amenities right on your doorstep. You are within very good proximity of the town of Sevenoaks with it’s facilities and transport links to London as well as the grand Knole House which is interesting to explore, also enjoy the top class golf course in the grounds. The towns of Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells are a short drive with the famous spa’s and great boutique shopping at the Pantiles as well as big brands at the Westfield shopping mall. Take a visit to Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the picture postcard Ightham Mote or Chartwell – the infamous family home of Winston Churchill.
