The largest of the four luxury cottages set in the beautiful grounds of a country manor house nestled in the North Downs. Everything is fitted to the highest standard, if you’re looking for five star accommodation then this is for you. Make use of private sessions in the heated indoor swimming pool or enjoy your own al-fresco barbecue. Home made bread is just part of an excellent starter hamper that awaits your arrival.

The Cottage

The cream Shaker style kitchen is beautifully fitted with everything you will need and open-plan to the rest of the ground floor. The lounge area has comfortable seating including a double sprung bed settee (to sleep up to 2) and a solid oak dining table that can be extended to meet the size of your party. There is an LCD flatscreen TV with Sky package and as well as DVD player. A Bose CD/ radio completes the entertainment along with free wireless broadband throughout. On the ground floor, there are 2 shower rooms and a sizeable bedroom with en-suite, kingsize bed and a quality single sofa bed. Upstairs you will find 2 additional bedrooms which can be set with either super king or double beds. One room has an en suite bathroom in the eves and both have fantastic views across to the Swale Estuary. A high chair and travel cot can be supplied on request, as can Baby sitting at reasonable rates.

The Location

The hamlet of Otterden is set high in the North Downs of central Kent. Many popular towns and attractions are within a 30 minute drive of this seemingly remote location. A farm selling local meat is close by. For those wishing to visit France, Dover and Folkestone are around half an hour away for the Ferry or Eurotunnel. There are excellent opportunities for walking and cycling in the surrounding area including the World renowned Pilgrim’s Way. There is a pub just over a mile away, shops and other amenities are within 5 miles.
