Great Place Cottage, Near Tenterden

Great Place Cottage is set in the rural retreat of Brissenden Court which is situated between Tenterden and Ashford. The origins of this former farm building date back to the mid 1860s and now offers a quiet, peaceful, central location to be based for visiting Kents many attractions. There is a good amount of internal space comparred to many 2 bedroom cottages and a w/c on each level is a popular consideration. Free Wi-Fi Broadband.

The Cottage

The cottage is entered from its small courtyard. The ground floor has a very well equipped kitchen with all mod cons (see list). Through to the spacious and comfortable lounge with some antique furnishings. Well presented bathroom, with bath, separate shower, two basins and a separate toilet. Up-stairs has a double master bedroom and a twin bedded room, one at each end of the cottage. A w/c with toilet and basin is also on this level between the bedrooms, along with two case storage and hanging rail spaces.

The Location

Centrally based, you are within easy reach of Kents attractions. Ashfords International station is only 10 minutes away and London now 38 minutes by fast train. The town has a new shopping centre and a designer outlet so very good for those who like to shop! The towns of Rye and Tenterden are close by and are a must when visiting Kent. Bethersden and nearby Woodchurch have 2 pubs each, all offering good food. It is a 25 minute drive to Camber sands which is one of the best beaches in the South East. Canterbury, Leeds Castle and Maidstone are all under a 30 minute drive.
