Flynt House, Near Maidstone.
The original walls of this flint built cottage date back at least 300 years. The owners have done their best to preserve the lovely character of the stonework yet meet the tough building regulations required these days.The cottage has a modern oil fired central heating system. Old and new in harmony! The cottage is well looked after by a cleaning team from the Gurka’s. Off road parking. This cottage can be booked with HK014 and WK011 for extra persons.
The Cottage
Outside patio, BBQ area with table and chairs. Door to open planned lounge dining area with exposed flint walls and beams. Comfortable settee that doubles as a sofa bed. Dining area for 4 persons. Kitchen with Fridge inc freezer box, electric oven, hob and microwave. Downstairs shower room with shower, w/c and basin. Steep steps to sleep deck overlooking the lounge, with twin beds. A single put you up bed would be available if only one person on the sofa bed. Maximum 4 persons.
The Location
Set at the far end of an equestrian establishment, high up in the North Downs. Try your luck at the riding school for a lovely experiance if you have never ridden before. Maidstone is the nearest Town and being Kents capital it offers a full range of shops and facilities. Leeds Castle is a must visit and only a 10 minute drive. To be honest in this heart of Kent location nothing is that far away. Great walking!
