Historic Deal and Dover Castles are both within easy reach. Shops including a bakers and pharmacy are within 5 minutes walk and the mainline station is around 10 minutes on foot. Trips by ferry or Eurotunnel to France can be arranged at Dover or Folkestone. Canterbury is very accessable from this part of Kent and you will pass through many lovely villages worth exploring on the way. Don’t miss the ancient town of Sandwich or Howletts Zoo/ conservation park!
