Pilgrims Way Cottage, Nr Canterbury

Set in a converted stone barn high in the rolling North Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty, this cottage has been renovated respecting the original flint features of the building. You are surrounded by paddocks, farmland and forests in all directions – perfect for exploring the countryside with plenty of great walks and miles of bridle paths in the area, even though it is a rural area, you are within good proximity to the ancient city of Canterbury.

The Cottage

Though the front entrance you are greeted with an open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge space. The kitchen is equipped with the cooking necessities and the lounge has a flatscreen digital television with DVD and Freeview, double french doors lead out to a patio and garden area. Upstairs there is a full family bathroom with WC, bath with shower over and basin. Also off the landing is an airing cupboard with plenty of hanging space. The master bedroom includes a full king-size bed, chair and bedside tables. A second twin bedded room has solid oak beds, a large wardrobe, bedside table and chair.

The Location

Located in acres of parkland between the rural villages of Petham and Waltham there is plenty of countryside to explore right on your doorstep with local pubs and access to some amazing forests all within a short distance. Canterbury has many fantastic restaurants and shops and is heaving with history with the famous medieval Cathedral, ancient city wall and Chaucer Tales.
