Dewhurst Cottage, Nr Wadhurst.
This charming period, mid -terrace property has been restored to an amazing standard. It does however benifit from many modern comforts like gas fired central heating and a dishwasher. There is a lot of character in this cottage with exposed brickwork, an open log fire and original floorboarding. The property is accessed by a short set steep steps (6), so may not be suitable for the elderly. Children under 5, unless a baby are not accepted for this reason.
The Cottage.
The Cottage is entered via the patio area to the rear of the property. This is a lovely area for Alfresco dining. There is a good sized, enclosed entrance area before entering the well equipped kitchen and dining area. The lounge has a nice warming feel about it and is well furnished. Upstairs has 2 double bedrooms one of which boasts a Victorian style bed and great view across the fields. There is a television in this room and a TV point in the other bedroom if required. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, basin and w/c.
The Location
Dewhurst Cottage is about a mile and a half outside of the pretty village of Wadhurst. The village is busy and offers most facilities including a good pub.
