The Cottage
The large open planned lounge - kitchen - diner has a beamed, vaulted ceiling with a decorative feature roof window. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher. Both bedrooms can be kingsize doubles or twin bedrooms. Please state requirements when booking! The bathroom is of good size and offers a bath with shower over, w/c and basin. The property benefits from underfloor heating in all rooms.
The Location
Wagon Cottage is located in the countryside between Staplehurst to the South and Maidstone to the North. You are well off any roads except the farm track that leads to the cottage. Maidstone is Kents County Town and offers great shopping opportunities and plenty to do. Leeds, Sissinghurst and Scotney Castles are all within a 20 minute drive and the lovely Bewl Water with its watersports facilities is a great day out. Pub serving food within half a mile.
