Great Place Cottage is set in the rural retreat of Brissenden Court which is situated between Tenterden and Ashford. The owners are not new to the accommodation sector and Jennifer's background in interior design shows throughout this property. The origins of this former farm building date back to the mid 1860s.A welcome basket which includes wine will await your arrival.
The Cottage
The cottage is entered from its small courtyard. The ground floor has a new kitchen with all mod cons (see list). Through to the well furnished lounge with many antique pieces. Dining area in both lounge and kitchen. New Luxury bathroom with bath, separate shower, two basins and a separate toilet. Up-stairs has a double bedroom and a twin bedded room with quality linen and mattresses. A washroom with toilet is also on this level.
The Location
Centrally based, you are within easy reach of Kents attractions. Ashfords International station is only 10 minutes away and London just over an hour by train. The towns of Rye and Tenterden are close by and are a must when visiting Kent. Bethersden and nearby Woodchurch have 2 pubs each, all offering good food.
