The Pilgrims Way and North Down Way, long distance footpaths are nearby including the Wye Downs walk near the Chalk Crown. There is a good local pub one and a half miles away, while a range of shops, pubs and a post office are available in Wye.
The coast of Kent is about half an hours drive.
