Peper Cottage is one of two newly converted properties, formally a period barn and stable. Care has been taken with the work to ensure that it retains some of its originallity yet provide the warmth and comfort of a brand new home.Peper Cottage is very well furnished and well equipped. Free Wifi is included in the package as is luxury bed linen. There is disabled access to this all groundfloor cottage.
The Cottage
3.3msq Double bedroom with view to garden En-suite shower room with w/c and basin. The full height, beamed lounge, kitchen diner offers a double sofa bed for up to 2 persons. A dishwasher, good sized fridge freezer and washing machine/dryer are all included in the kitchen space. Large paved sun terrace and lawns with BBQ, loungers, parasol, table and chairs.
The Location
If you are looking for a great location in East Kent then look no further! Historic Canterbury, Ramsgate, Margate, Deal and Herne Bay are all within a 20 minute drive. The World class golf course of Royal St Georges, home of the 2011 Open and the lovely Howletts Zoo are close by! You will feel in times gone by passing through the local village of Wingham (2 miles) with supermarket, bank, bakery, pubs and restaurants and the mediaeval town of Sandwich. Preston offers a pub, village shop, butchers serving local produce, kennals, riding stable and good garden centre. Birdwatching and cycling are popular in this area.
