The Location.
Walmer is close to the historic town of Deal. You are able to walk to the castle and sea front in just over 5 minutes. Nelson and Julias Caesar are both linked to this area. Shops including a Pharmacy and bakers are within a 5 minute walk and Walmer station about 10 minutes. Dover is a 10 minute drive and access to France via a ferry can be arranged there for day trips.
