Few holiday cottages can match this location with its stunning views across the channel to France. Merriwinds is a very comfortable Cottage on the south coast between the towns of Dover and Folkestone.
The Cottage
This ground level only cottage has a lovely sea facing conservatory. The lounge is well furnished and the kitchen diner well equipped. The master bedroom boasts a Kingsize bed. There is a twin bedded room and a new bathroom with large 900mm shower over, basin and w/c. Upgraded for 2010.
The Location.
Capel-le-Ferne is a small village on top of the cliffs overlooking the English Channel. Dover castle is one of the many historic monuments in the area and make sure when visiting you see the underground caves used in the war. More RAF action was seen in this area than anywhere else in the uk during the 1940s. Canterbury is about half an hour away as is Ashfords designer outlet centre.Trips to France couldnt be easier from this location and trains to London close by.
